a Vacation Home in a quaint, historic railroad town .

   It's a chance to step back in time . . . .  A home full of rich, colorful history and located right in the heart of the historic district of Hinton, West Virginia, (Hinton is 22 miles from Winterplace Ski Resort). The home  offers an elegant and  fully furnished setting. With interior woodwork imported from the Black Forest of Germany, everything is provided including full kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave. All pots/pans/dishes/utensils. 1 bathroom with shower and tub, washer/dryer, dining room, one bedroom w sitting room. All linens/towels provided. All you need is what you plan to eat! Guest home has private parking. Close to library, post office, courthouse, churches, businesses. Will accommodate 1 or 2 people only. 

We regret that we do not allow smoking or pets.

Our rate is $125 per night plus 12% tax and
a $100 security deposit (refundable)   

Also within Summers County you will find the oldest house in West Virginia (The Graham House at Lowell - (see photo at right ), the Hinton Railroad Museum, Veterans Memorial Museum, magnificent Sandstone Falls (where Lassie movie was filmed), the John Henry monument and rail tunnel (no, he is NOT a myth!), beautiful mountains and sparkling rivers (New River, Bluestone and Greenbrier).  Amtrak service is available in Hinton. Pipestem Resort and Bluestone State Park are within Summers County and Winterplace Ski Resort is just 22 miles away! The Greenbrier Resort is a wonderful and easy day trip, as is the New River Gorge Bridge, an engineering marvel!
